I purchased many things from this locatoon. For the most part they have items in stock that I need. I buy most of my tools snd supplies from this store and even place the order for pickup. My most recent purchase was for Rigid power tools. They were on sale and I saved about $150... So if you an wait until Black Friday to buy your tools you are best off waiting.

I also saved $59 on a stackable Rigid toolchest set. That was definitely a great buy. I have issues with Cree LED lightbulbs that I purchased here.
They have been very good about working with me. There’s sometimes where I’ve been able to take nights off, but work a little bit longer on another night. So they’ve been very flexible. It’s challenging, but that’s a good thing if that makes sense, because there’s a lot going on.

This position makes equipment recommendations and ensures that units are maintained. Technicians work in both our stores with Tool Rental Centers and in our repair centers. In addition to supporting customer repair needs, they are also responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the tool rental department. Technicians must have a thorough knowledge of all tools and must effectively manage the tool inventory by maintaining the tools and repairing them as necessary. I tend to find the products I need easily, the aisle are clearly labeled, and most of the employees are friendly and dint mind assisting when asked.
I would prefer "orange box" over blue box store. Customer service skills is one of the main things that Home Depot has truly truly helped me out with. I feel confident to maybe one day open my own small business.

You have to be willing to work quickly. If you stay busy and keep working, you’ll notice that the nights and things go by as fast as possible. The kind of problems I solve are anything mundane from how to fix a sink.
However, on my most recent visit, I found the item I needed but needed an employees assistance to retrieve the item so I could pay for it. One lady walked by the aisle, gave a smile, and gave the impression she was willing to help if needed. Since I was still confirming which items I was going to purchase and how much, I smiled back and continued looking.
She had to walk over to the cubicle for a tool. The man who sat there and supposedly asked for help jumped in and took over assisting me. Not sure why he didn't just do that in the first place.
A 401k is an amazing program we have here. So from a culture standpoint, we have partners not employees because we want to seek their feedback. From the moment you walk through these doors, you start feeling welcomed.
Right now, I’m a cashier part time and I love it, because I love working with the customers. Called to schedule a consultation for a bathroom remodel. The woman that showed up smelled so bad I couldn’t get within 5ft of her even though I had all my windows open. My dog was even confused as to why she smelled so bad. Then without even asking what I want done she starts telling me about plastic shower replacements.
When I ordered it online, I called the store and discussed my issues with getting to my home. It did take a little bit of time due to the fact the paper work needed to be adjusted, and the grill needed to be assembled. Good things come to those who wait. My delivery guy was on time as well as fononimal. Even though I didn't tell him what to do, he read my mind and did exactly what I wanted him to do.
Once he finished assisting, I made my way to the front and paid for my purchase. The cashier who rang up my purchase was courteous as well. So the work that we do here at night is basically we unload trucks. And then we, as a team, pack everything out onto the shelves.
